In 2015, HCOA acquired the facilities, assets and maintenance & repair capabilities of Marianna Airmotive Corporation (MAC).   This new business unit, named Honeycomb Aircraft Repair Center (HARC), will continue to be the premier repair and remanufacturer of C-5 Galaxy aircraft parts and assemblies, among other aircraft MRO services. The HARC facility has 160,000 square feet on 36 acres and is located in the Pensacola, Florida area.

With the purchase of MAC, HARC acquired a rich 45-year history of innovative solutions to complex repairs in the U.S. Aerospace Industry. HARC has been performing C-5 airframe component repair and overhaul per Government Contract since 1993 and has produced new C-5 Spoilers and new Wing Flap Trailing Edges since 2011.  More importantly, HARC has retained the knowledge base, know-how and technical expertise to complete very complicated and in-depth repairs and remanufacture of bonded aerostructure components and assemblies.

Joining the extraordinary capability and history of both HCOA and HARC has positioned the Honeycomb family to provide unequaled repair and overhaul support to the U.S. military, OEMs and Tier 1 and 2 suppliers. Add to this expertise, certifications to ISO-9001:2008, AS9100C and NADCAP for Non-Destructive Testing, Chemical Processing, Heat Treating and Composites.
